Toque Único

Toque Único is a one-hand, one-touch peteca game played offline against a club ladder of twelve rivals. If something isn't working as expected, or you have a question about the app, check the answers below or send us a message with the form at the bottom of this page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I hit the peteca?

Tap your half of the court to move there, and swipe as the peteca drops toward you to strike it. The swipe's direction aims the shot; a short swipe drives it low and a long swipe lobs it high. Time the strike as the peteca falls — too early and it floats, too late and it goes into the net. The three-hit practice rally on the Court tab teaches this in a few seconds.

Why can't I hit the peteca twice in a row?

That's the real rule the game is named after: one hand, one touch, one player. Each side gets a single strike before the peteca has to cross the net, exactly as in the sport played in Minas Gerais. In doubles, only one of the two players on a side may touch each peteca.

How do I unlock the next rival on the ladder?

Beat the rival directly below the locked one, in the format (singles or doubles) you want to unlock. Your record against each rival is shown on their profile in the Ladder tab.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Toque Único works entirely offline — matches, the club ladder, Serve School drills and the rules reference are all built into the app and stored on your device.

Does the app collect any of my data?

No personal data is collected, and there is no account, analytics or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I reset my progress?

Open the Locker tab, go to Settings, and choose "Reset progress". This clears your ladder, drill stars, stats, achievements and player-card portrait; your sound, music and haptics settings stay as they are.
